Alexandra is a fromer Graduate Recruitment Officer with experience in both UK and US firms. She previously was a Recruitment Assistant focusing on Partner Recruitment with Evershed Sutherland LLP, a Graduate Recruitment Officer at Shearman & Sterling LLP as well as a Graduate Recruitment Advisor at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.

Alexandra has a bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Rowena is Senior Manager at Hyrdogen Group, a global specialist recruitment business placing private practice and in-house lawyers in law firms, companies and organisations in over 50 countries.

Clement is a project finance Partner at a top 3 white shoe law firm and Co-Head of their Africa Practice. Following a Master's in Law at Harvard University, he started his career in the New York office of a different white shoe firm, where he became partner after only 8 years. Clement then joined his current firm, having been based in the Paris and London offices.

Clement is both New York and Paris qualified and is a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Ariel is a Partner at a silver circle firm. She was European Counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP specialising in equity capital markets transactions. She carried out secondments to Goldman Sachs, Jefferies LLC's and Citibank. She is currently a Partner at BCLP in the M&A and Corporate Finance department

She completed her training contract at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and qualified into the corporate department. Ariel then spent 7 years at Latham & Watkins LLP.

Ariel read Law and Politics at The University of Edinburgh where she participated in the Erasmus Student Exchange at the University of Oslo.

Kennedy QC is a senior barrister and Queen's Counsel at the Chambers of Andrew Mitchell QC.  Kennedy has appeared before the Supreme Court in eight cases since 2000. He is the Chairman of the Proceeds of Crime Lawyers’ Association and has lectured at the United Nations, International Monetary Fund and the Council of Europe.

Faisal is a Barrister at 33 Chancery Lane, The Chambers of Andrew Mitchell QC. He was previously a barrister at Furnival Chambers and Argent Chambers. He specialises "in the domestic and international civil recovery elements of commercial wrongdoing disputes. He regularly advises claimants and third parties on asset recovery matters, and also handles confiscation, fraud and regulatory enforcement..." (Chambers and Partners 2017)

Faisal advises and acts in civil and criminal commercial wrongdoing disputes particularly in cases with foreign dimensions (with a focus on the DIFC Court). His core work revolves around domestic and international civil and criminal asset recovery on behalf of governments and commercial organisations and the worldwide enforcement of judgments and awards. His work also includes commercial litigation, corruption, fraud, regulatory enforcement, sanctions and professional discipline.

Amina is a corporate associate who trained at PwC Legal LLP. Prior to her training contract, she was a paralegal with PwC Legal LLP for 6 months and interned at the United Nations (Pakistan Mission), Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer LLP, Latham & Watkins LLP, Reed Smith LLP and Clyde & Co LLP. Her work and internship experience was carried out in Dubai, London and New York.

Amina read law at Kings College London, where she was Secretary of the KCL Law Society, Vice-President of the Pro Bono Society and part-took in various debating competitions.

Kate was a Senior Associate at a Magic Circle law firm's New York office. Kate's practice focuses on leveraged finance and general banking. 

Kate trained at Lawrence Graham LLP in London and was the first trainee to carry out a secondment to their Dubai office. After qualifying into Banking with Lawrence Graham LLP, Kate then joined a British firm's office in Doha, Qatar where she spent four years. Kate also carried out two client secondments in Doha with leading investment and commercial banks.

Safal is an Investment Funds Law Associate at the most profitable law firm in the world. He trained at a silver circle firm following his role as a paralegal at magic circle firm. 

He studied law at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and carried out vacation schemes at legacy firm Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and Dentons LLP.

Rama is a Lawyer at the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department. She was previously an Advisory Lawyer at the Government Legal Department in London. She graduated studying Modern Languages at the University of Oxford and joined a magic cirlce firm as a trainee. Rama then spent a year as an Associate in General Financing and undertook a secondment in Hong Kong. She left private practice to advise the government on a range of policy and litigation matters in relation to EU social security coordination, including the drafting of the EU Withdrawal Agreement (Brexit).

Rama carried out a vacation scheme at Slaughter & May LLP and an internship at the Sudanese Embassy with the Sudanese delegation to UNESCO in Paris. 

Seb is a Venture Capital Investor at Triple Point Investment Management. He previously worked in the corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team at a magic circle firm, where he completed over £30bn worth of global venture capital, real estate and public M&A transactions. During his 4 years there, Seb was seconded to Johannesburg and was part of the team that established their Johannesburg office.

Over his career, Seb has worked on venture deals with both private venture funds and corporate venture capital teams. He is an active seed investor and is a board adviser to London-based hospitality start-up Nightkey. He is also a governor of a school in Westminster, and was the youngest finance committee chairman elected by the school. Seb graduated from Manchester University with a First Class Honours in Law and is fluent in Spanish.

Alia is a corporate lawyer qualified in the State of New York. Alia has as of recent, left private practice and completed an academic program with Stanford University focused on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is a co-founder of In.coming.   

By way of background, Alia started her career with a top 2 white shoe law firm, where she spent three years in the London and Dubai offices focusing on corporate and debt capital market transactions. Following which, Alia joined a magic circle firm, focusing purely on mergers and acquisitions. During her time there, Alia was an active member of the Africa Practice and was the Pro Bono Representative for the office. Alia also led and created a collaboration between the firm and Ellevate, a global professional women’s network of 30,000 run by the former CEO of Merrill Lynch. Alia then moved to legacy firm Chadbourne & Parke LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright LLP) and continued working on global corporate transactions.

Nikeeta recently joined an elite investment bank as a VP & Assistant Genereal Counsel. She was an employment associate at a silver circle firm where she completed secondments at Credit Suisse, O2 and MUFG. Prior to her training contract, Nikeeta carried out vacation schemes at DLA Piper LLP, CMS Cameron Mckenna LLP and Douglas Wemyss Solicitors LLP.

Nikeeta read Law at Durham University.

Tamsin is an associate at Lewis Silkin LLP. She trained at PwC Legal LLP where she qualified into the Data Protection team, specialising in Data Privacy. Prior to her training contract she carried out a Slaughter & May LLP insight day and a vacation scheme at Linklaters LLP.

Tamsin read law at the University of Sussex.

Tim is a corporate solicitor at a big 4's legal arm focusing on private equity transactions. Tim trained at King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin and spent 6 years in their corporate department.

Tim read Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews and completed his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BBP University.

Yaxin is a corporate and mergers & acquisitions lawyer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. She trained at PwC Legal LLP and qualified into the corporate department. Whilst at PwC Legal LLP, she carried out a secondment to Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Yaxin read law at Kings College London and carried out her legal practice course at the University of Law in Moorgate.

Nagwa is a junior associate in the Commercial Construction team within the Real Estate department of a silver cirle firm.

Nagwa read law at the University of Essex, where she was a Law Mentor, Law Student Ambassador and University Ambassador. Nagwa played netball for the City of Sunderland Netball team and volunteered extensively with primary schools and hospitals in England and in the United Arab Emirates.

Lucia is a Trainee at a white shoe firm. She is the former President of the Cambridge University Law Society and carried out vacation schemes at Sidley Austin LLP, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Whilst reading law at the University of Cambridge, she carried out insight days at Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer LLP, Sidley Austin LLP, Slaughter & May LLP, Bristows LLP and Hogan Lovells LLP. Lucia is a member of Bright Network’s International Women’s Day Student Leadership Board.

Mohammad is an Associate at a magic circle firm. He read Law at the London School of Economics and, throughout his higher education, submitted 3 applications to law firms.

Reiss is a Court Advocate at LPC Law. He carried out mini-pupillages at 5 Essex Court Chambers, Field Court Chambers and Outer Temple Chambers. Reiss also gained Marshalling experience at Inner London Crown Court with Judy Khan QC and attended an open day at legacy firm, Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP.

Reiss is a graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies having read Chinese and Law, during such time he completed a year abroad in Beijing, China.

David is an incoming trainee solicitor. He gained a degree in Classics from the University of Oxford in 2019. At university, he was President of the Oxford Law Society, editor of the LawSoc magazine, and marketing manager of University College Ball. He was also a member of the Oxford Foundry student advisory board.

David carried out a vacation scheme at Taylor Wessing LLP, working with the firm's Corporate Technology and Private Client teams. He also took part in the Osborne Clarke LLP first year insight scheme. 

Celine is an incoming pupil barrister at Quadrant Chambers. She carried out mini-pupillages at Fountain Court Chambers, Essex Court Chambers, Quadrant Chambers, 4 Stone Buildings Chambers, 3 Verulam Buildings Chambers and 7KBW Chambers. She also carried out a vacation scheme at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates and insight days at Shearman & Sterling LLP and Slaughter & May LLP.

Celine read law at the London School of Economics and Political Science where she was Chambers Secretary for the LSE SU Law Society.

Elizabeth is an incoming trainee solicitor at a magic circle firm having completed vacation schemes at Clifford Chance LLP; Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, Latham & Watkins LLP and Slaughter and May LLP. She also carried out the Early Diversity Internship Program at the Civil Service Fast Stream and reads History & Politics at the University of Oxford.

Shashtika is a Master's candidate at the University of Warwick specialising in Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation and is an incoming trainee solictor at Ashurst LLP. She completed internships at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, Linklaters LLP, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP) and Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.

Shashtika was Co-President of the Warwick Finance Societies and the Vice President of the Warwick Commercial Law Society. She completed open days at the Boston Consulting Group, PwC, Clifford Chance LLP and Slaughter & May LLP.

Jennifer is a Trainee Solicitor at a magic circle firm. She carried out vacation schemes at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP and Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer LLP. She also attended Insight days and training sessions at Macfarlanes LLP, King & Wood Mallesons, Allen & Overy LLP, Ashurst LLP, Slaughter & May LLP, White & Case LLP, Hogan Lovells LLP and Travers Smith LLP, amongst others.

Jennifer read law at the University of Essex, where she was Careers Officer at the Essex Law Society, Liaisons Officer at the Essex Feminist Society, and Treasurer of the Essex Amnesty International Society.

Femi is an incoming trainee solicitor. She studied Law at the University of Warwick and completed a vacation scheme at Mishcon De Reya LLP and the first year scheme at a magic circle law firm.

Femi was the President of the Warwick African & Caribbean Society and regularly volunteers as a mentor for education and empowerment focused organisations.

Amith is Trainee at a magic circle firm. Amith cut short a Biochemistry degree in Canada with the University of British Columbia to read Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford. At the University of Oxford, he was President, Membership Office and Verdict Magazine Editor of the Oxford Law Society as well as Co-President of the Oxford Personal Finance & Investment Society. Amith was also a Committee Member of the Oxford Guild and Senior Organiser of the St. John’s Wine and Cheese Appreciation Society.

Amith carried out Insight days at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP and the Springboard First Year Programme at Clifford Chance LLP in the Debt Capital Markets Team. Amith Also carried out vacation schemes in Allen & Overy LLP in London with the Corporate – TMT team, and in Allen and Overy LLP's Hong Kong office in the Corporate & Banking Teams.

Mohammed is a final year law student at the University of Westminster. He has completed vacation schemes with a magic circle, silver circle and two other firms.

He is a Debate Mate Lead Mentor responsible for the delivery of afterschool debating sessions to disadvantaged students in state primary schools.

Amanda is a Rose Scholar at The Honorable Society of the Middle Temple. Amanda carried out mini-pupillages at 9 Bedford Row Chambers; Farringdon Chambers; Ropewalk Chambers and Furnival Chambers. She marshalled at Southwark Crown Court with HHJ Petar Testar, a Criminal Fraud Judge and at Snaresbrook Crown Court with HJ Kaly Kaul. She also carried out an internship at Prospect Magazine as a high school student.

She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge where she read English and was Head of the Cambridge Theatre Review.

Emike is an Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank. She completed first-year internship programmes at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, Clifford Chance LLP, Barclays Investment Bank, Teach First and the Civil Service Fast Stream. Subsequently, she did a vacation scheme at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and an Equity Research summer internship at Barclays Investment Bank.

Emike is a Politics, Philosophy and Economics finalist at the London School of Economics. She Co-Founded the Phoenix Foundation, a social enterprise, which aims to boost women’s employability. Further, Emike was a semi-finalist at the Aspiring Solicitors Commercial Awareness competition.

Temi studied Law with Social Sciences at the University of Warwick. Throughout her degree, she was involved with the Warwick Law Society as a First Year Representative, Social Secretary and then Vice President. Temi completed a vacation scheme at Travers Smith LLP and attended insight days at Shearman & Sterling LLP, Clifford Chance LLP and RPC LLP.
