Alia
Alia is a corporate lawyer qualified in the State of New York. Alia has as of recent, left private practice and completed an academic program with Stanford University focused on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is co-founder of In.coming.
By way of background, Alia started her career with Latham & Watkins LLP, where she spent three years in the London and Dubai offices focusing on corporate and debt capital market transactions. Following which, Alia joined Allen & Overy LLP, focusing purely on mergers and acquisitions. During her time at Allen & Overy, Alia was an active member of the Africa Practice and was the Pro Bono Representative for the office. Alia also lead and created a collaboration between Allen & Overy and Ellevate, a global professional women’s network of 30,000 run by the former CEO of Merrill Lynch. Alia then moved to on the firm now called Norton Rose Fulbright LLP and continued working on global corporate transactions.
